William "Bill" Baumgardner, 88, retired Boeing Aircraft Company inventory manager, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. Funeral Service will be live streamed, 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 31, at www.dlwichita.com. Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 p.m., in Greenwood Cemetery. 

After his service in the United States Navy, Bill became a well-known square dance caller. After working 35 years at Boeing, he spent a lot of time camping and he and his wife spent many long winters in Texas. It would not be unusual to find him in his workshop making a gift for his grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; parents, John and Bertha; brother, Donald; sisters, Dorothy and Marjorie. Survivors: daughter, M’tika Heibel; stepdaughters, Gwendolyn (Jim) Whittit and Susan (Gary) Sanders; stepsons, Scott Williams and John D. Williams; grandchildren, Ryan, Michael, Curtis, Melanie, Dalton, Jon, Joe and Savana; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
