Lillian Wynn Newland

Lillian Wynn Newland was born on October 8th, 1931 in Blackwell OK, the oldest child of four, to parents Elmer and Marth Wynn and passed away on March 2nd, 2021. Lillian was raised in Blackwell where she attended Blackwell schools and where she met Jimmy Newland.

They were married in Blackwell July 7, 1950. Lillian had many jobs with her favorite being at the local Head Start and the children called her Grandma Lillian.

She loved gardening and family get togethers, especially Sunday dinners. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jimmy; brother Ralph Wynn, and one great-great grandchild, Raylee. Lillian is survived by 4 children, daughters Mary Ewy and Melanie Mazur and her husband Walter of Blackwell, Misti Adamson and her husband Herman of Shidler and son Douglas Newland and his wife Sabrina of Blackwell; by sister Martha Stewart of Arkansas and brother Elmer Wynn and wife Thurra of Blackwell.

She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 13th at 1:00 p.m. at the House of Prayer located at 900 N 9th in Blackwell.
