Florence Allison

Florence Allison, age 67 of Blackwell, went to be with her Lord and savior on October 26, 2021 in the Ponca City Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on March 3rd, 1954 in Winfield Kansas to Ivera Neumann and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1972 where she met her first husband David Looper Sr.

Some years later, she married David Allison and they made their home in Blackwell. He proceeded her in death.

Florence loved spending time with her family and taking care of all of her cats and kitties, which were her “children”. She was a very special caring and giving person and was very much loved by all her family. Florence was preceded in death by her mother Ivera, one sister Marie and her husband David.

She is survived by her sister Carlene Smithson and husband Brian, four nieces, four nephews, three great nephews, seven great nieces, twelve cats and a host of friends. She will be greatly missed. A memorial dinner is planned for Thursday, November 11th at 6:00 P.M. at the First Christian Church in Blackwell with burial at a later date.
