Sherry L. Herrmann

Sherry L. Herrmann, 78, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. Born January 9, 1943, at Alva, OK, she was the daughter of Harold J. and Margaret (Kurth) Coles.

Sherry graduated from Blackwell High School in Blackwell, OK in 1960. She was a resident of Coldwater, KS for the past 5 years, wintering in Frostproof, FL for the past 8 years. She previously lived in Hutchinson, KS for 26 years, where she worked for Dillon Companies, Inc. for 18 years, retiring in 1998.

On April 4, 1979, she married Greg Herrmann at Las Vegas, NV. He survives.

Sherry loved to play golf and was a member of Women’s Golf Association in Hutchinson, KS. She also enjoyed traveling all over the United States with her husband, Greg, in their R.V., making many friends along the way.

She is survived by her husband: Greg Herrmann of Coldwater, KS; two children: Michelle Moore of Greensburg, KS and Todd Moore of Great Bend, KS; one step-daughter: Sheila Noblett of Monkey Island, OK; one sister: Debi Coles Schmidt of Coldwater, KS; and four grandchildren: Madison Moore, Makayla Noblett, Jackson Noblett, and Hayden Noblett.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Darold Coles.

Memorial Service is at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater, KS, with Jeff Blundell presiding. Inurnment will follow the memorial service at Crown Hill Cemetery in Coldwater, KS.
