Verla Jean Webb

Verla Jean Webb of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, in the O.U. Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 71 years. Verla attended school in Blackwell, graduating in 1970. She married Craig Webb May 26, 1973. They had 3 children and traveled for twenty years because Craig was in the Air Force. They returned to Blackwell in 1992. Verla enjoyed camping, fishing, and playing cards with her family. She loved her kids, grandkids, many nieces and nephews, and all of their friends. She was always their number one fan at any activity. Verla was an active member of the First church of the Nazarene and a constant figure at VBS. She also loved driving the un-official church van. She was a mom to many and a nana to all. She is survived by her husband, Craig Webb of the home; a daughter, Amanda Grace and husband Tommy of Arkansas City, Kansas; two sons, Roy E. Webb and wife Sarah of Braman and Craig “Scooter” Webb Jr. and wife Ashley of Stillwater; four sisters, Marilyn Dyer of Winfield, Kansas, Kay Rohrs and husband David of Blackwell, Gayle Cunningham of Blackwell, and Diane Spry of Blackwell; two brothers, Darrell Rowe and wife Linda of Blackwell, and Troy Rowe and wife Phyllis of Blackwell; six grandchildren; one great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Pauline Rowe, her stepdad Harold Rowe, and her stepbrother Roger Rowe. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 10th in the First Church of the Nazarene in Blackwell with Rev. Josie Busby officiating. Burial will follow in the Blackwell Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 9th from 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home Casketbearers will be Bryce Brown, Briley Brown, Bron Brown, Logan Webb, Caleb Cunningham and Chad Cunningham.
