Hutton Pharmacy closes due to storm damage; provides info
Hutton Pharmacy on Main Street is closed due to severe damage from the storms that devastated Blackwell on the morning of Friday, July 21.
The pharmacy has released the following statement addressing the prescription needs of their customers:
“All customers and patients of Hutton Pharmacy. We regret to inform you that severe damage from last nights storm has left us completely inoperable.
We are working as fast as possible to set up the ability to transfer any active prescriptions to a pharmacy of your choice. If you are in need now, it may be best to contact your doctor to get a new script sent to another pharmacy.
Walmart pharmacy in Blackwell and Family Pharmacy in Ponca have been informed and are ready to help. Please be patient with them as they were not prepared for the additional volume and will be doing the best they can to get you taken care of.
Our team will hopefully have our phones operational in the next 24 hours to assist with your transfers. Hutton Pharmacy has been a part of the Blackwell community for many generations and we are determined to continue that tradition.
Thank you for your support and we can’t wait until we can serve you again.”
The storms this morning caused widespread damage through the community. More information will be available soon.
