Top of OK Jam brings country music legends to Blackwell this October

Tickets are now on sale for Blackwell’s third annual Top of OK Jam concert event to be held October 14, 2023, just a week after Homecoming at Morgan Field on Main Street.

This year’s lineup has also been officially announced.

This year the Top of OK Jam will feature the Josh Abbott Band, Neal McCoy, Krislyn Arthurs, Midnight South, and Adara Kay.

At last month’s meeting of the Blackwell City Council, the Top of OK Jam was presented $2,000 by the City of Blackwell.

Attendance at the 2022 concert surpassed 4,000 guests and there were 0 security or medical issues.

Tickets are available at topofokjam.com including pit and general admission for $50 and $35 respectively.

The Texas-born Josh Abbott Band is perhaps best known for their 2010 song “She’s Like Texas” and 2020’s “Settle Me Down”.

They have over 2 million monthly listeners on music streaming service Spotify.

Neal McCoy from Jacksonville, Texas is a Platinum-certified country music legend from the 1980’s and 1990’s with hits such as “No Doubt About It”, “Wink”, and “Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On”.

McCoy currently has over 700,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Krislyn Arthurs, a fan-favorite and local sensation, has performed at the past two Top of OK Jam festivals and has viral hits like “Movin On” and “Sip” as well as her new song “Mama Never Told Me”.

Arthurs is verified on Spotify with over 300 monthly listeners.

Midnight South band’s “Girl From Mississippi” and “I Find Home” were big hits online, and they also have over 300 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Adara Kay is an Oklahoma-based act who defines themselves as “Y’Allternative”, a play on country alternative. Their most popular song is “Don’t Have a Prayer” and they have over 500 monthly listeners on Spotify.
