HOCO 2023: Homecoming activities set

It might only be August, but Blackwell High School is already preparing for the most anticipated event of the year: Homecoming.

Blackwell’s 2023 Homecoming will take place October 6, Friday.

The events will begin with coffee at 10 a.m. at Blackwell Elementary School followed by the Blackwell Public Schools Foundation Luncheon at Kay Electric on Doolin at 11:30 a.m.

At 1:30 p.m. there will be the Homecoming assembly in the Blackwell Event Center, then the annual parade at 4 p.m. on Main Street.

At 6:30 p.m. the coronation for the Blackwell Maroons Football Homecoming King and Queen will be held at the BHS football field prior to the 7 p.m. kickoff against Alva.
