United Outreach Kickoff Breakfast to be held Friday on Main and Blackwell

Blackwell United Outreach’s annual Kickoff Breakfast will be held this Friday, September 1, from 7 a.m. until 9 a.m. on the corner of Main Street and Blackwell Avenue.

Delivery is available and pre-orders are still be accepted by calling 363-4195 or by e-mailing blackwellunitedoutreach@gmail.com.

The $5 breakfast will include a sausage and egg biscuit with orange juice.

The breakfast will feature the Blackwell High School band as well as cheerleaders who will be performing between 7:30 and 8 a.m. that morning.

The foundation holds various fundraising events through the year including the Kickoff Breakfast as well as a fall food drive, “penny wars” event at the Blackwell schools, hot chocolate fundraiser following the yearly Night of Lights Christmas parade, involvement in the Dolly Parton library program, and fall food drive.

All of these events are done to support the Outreach’s involvement in the local foodbank, the Good Buy Shoppe, Blackwell OK Okies 4-H, Survivor Resource Network, Northern Oklahoma Youth Services, and Blackwell Public Library.
