Oscar McCleary

Oscar McCleary was born on August 2, 1967, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He graduated in 1985 and worked at Electron in Blackwell, Oklahoma. He married Jennifer Lynn Dalke and moved to Columbus, Indiana, where he lived until his death on February 24, 2024, at 11:30 p.m. He is survived by his four children: Eden East (26 years old), Sara McCleary (24 years old), Noah McCleary (21 years old), and Luke McCleary (17 years old). He also has two grandchildren, Jayla Hyde (2 years old) and Selena Hyde (3 years old), through Sara McCleary, as well as his brother Charles McCleary (59 years old) and ex-wife. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, March 4, 2024, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus, Indiana. Visitation is from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Additionally, a lunch will be held for close family and friends at his home church, Memorial Baptist Church, in Columbus, Indiana, at 1:00 p.m. on the 4th.
