Blackwell Pool: New hours, New prices, New faces for 2024 season

It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year:

The Blackwell Memorial Pool is about to be open for business with new faces and new hours for the season.

The 2024 Summer Season for the Blackwell pool located on Main Street kicks off this Friday, Memorial Day weekend, with several new faces both on the lifeguard stand and behind the counter inside.

The pool officially opens on May 25 and will close on August 4th.

The cost for the pool will be $2 for Adults and $1 for kids 5 and up. Kids 5 and under get in for free.

Swim passes are returning this year with individual passes for $30. Family passes are $60 for families of 4 with each additional child costing $15.

Passes are valid for normal pool hours only.

Passes will be on sale for a special price Thursday May 23 from 11:30 am - 2 pm and Friday May 24 from 3 pm - 5 pm, allowing interested parties to purchase passes for $5 off.

Their pool’s normal operating hours will be Monday - Saturday from 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm and Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm.

Party hours will be Sunday - Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm. 8 pm - 10 pm parties will be available on Fridays and Saturdays.

Assistant Manager duties this year are split between Blair Turney, Melody Sullivan, and Laura Ropp. The pool currently boasts over 14 lifeguards as well.
