James L. Hoover

James L. Hoover, 85, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on August 2nd, 2024 in Naples, FL.

Jim was born in Fall River, KS to Viola Mae (Bell) Hoover and George Franklin Hoover on February 9th, 1939. He graduated from Oklahoma State University, worked as a tax accountant for Conoco Phillips for 30 years, and served in the United States Army for 6 years. On April 9th, 1983, he married Lisa (Deeb) Hoover in Pittsburgh, PA.

Jim is preceded in death by his mother, father and sister, Carole Whitney. He is survived by spouse Lisa Hoover, children Cory Hoover, Danielle Hoover (Ryan McLaughlin), Jon Hoover (Julie), and grandchildren Hudson and Harrison.
