Blackwell Homecoming 2024: What are the dates and times?

Homecoming is just around the corner on September 27, and Blackwell Public Schools wasted no time in posting the schedule of events for one of Blackwell’s biggest celebrations including the 2nd Annual Homecoming Golf Tournament on Saturday, September 28.

2024’s Homecoming will welcome back classes of 4’s and 9’s (1984, 1989 etc) on the weekend of September 27 which will also double as the Grand Opening of the newly renovated Blackwell High School.

Homecoming will kick off that Friday with the Grand Opening of the Blackwell High School at 10 a.m. when the alumni join for their morning coffee.

Following that, at 11 a.m. the School Foundation will host their luncheon at the Kay Room.

At 1:30 p.m. the Alumni Assembly will be held in the newly renovated Blackwell High School Auditorium (in previous years, due to construction, the event was held in the Blackwell Event Center).

At 4 p.m. the Homecoming Parade will be held on Main Street with line-up beginning at the Blackwell Co-Op on north Main.

The events will continue at the Blackwell High School football field at 6:30 p.m. with Football Royalty Coronation followed by a 7 p.m. kickoff against Milwood for the Homecoming Game.

Blackwell Wrestling will be hosting their 2nd Annual Homecoming Golf Tournament that Saturday, September 28, at 9 a.m. at the Blackwell Golf Course.

The entry fee for the 4-person team scramble is $300 per team and includes 18 holes, green fees, cart fees, and a meal.
