Max E Broce

Max E. Broce of Ponca City, OK, passed away on September 27, 2024. in Ponca City, OK. He was born to E.L. and Eldora (Good) Brock on January 15, 1936 in Grant County, OK. He graduated from Deer Creek High School in 1954. He went to OK State University and graduated in 1956 with a degree in electrical engineering. He obtained his pilot license in 1956. He served his country in the National Guard. 
On January 5, 1958, he married Patricia Fellingham and had three children, Kevin, Kristine and Keith. He loved flying, growing wheat and soybeans and raising emus and cattle. 
Max and his family moved to TX in 1965 to take a position at TX Instrument, working in the research and development department of the military division. After retiring, they moved back to Braman to resume farming and raising cattle. 
He leaves behind his wife Patricia of Ponca City, OK, son Kevin and late wife Lisa Broce of Allen, TX, daughter, Kristene and Darryl LaRoe of Canton, GA, and son Keith and Tina Broce of Allen, TX; grandson, Jeremiah and Maggy LaRoe of Arlington, TX, granddaughter, Joanna and Travis Lloyd of McKinney, TX and granddaughter Marlana and Emilio Galvan of Allen, TX and great-grandchildren Annabeth, Jensen, Caden, Dean, Brady, Carson and Davina. He is also survived by his sister Betty Evans of Braman, OK, nephew, Steve and Wendy Evans of Blackwell, OK, niece, Diana Backus of Blackwell, OK, brother-in-Law David and Vickie Fellingham of Mannford, OK, niece Cassie and Jeff Lane of Broken Arrow, OK, and nephew Jason and Tiffany Fellingham of Loveland, CO.  
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Caldwell City Cemetery, Caldwell, Kansas with Pastor Truman Ferguson officiating. 
Memorials may be made to the Woodlands Christian Church in Ponca City, OK and sent in care of the mortuary.
