Donna Kay Reese Lichti

 Donna Kay (Reese) Lichti, resident of Nardin, passed away at Hillcrest Manor in Blackwell, OK on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. She was 75.

The family will host a memorial reception on Sunday, Oct. 13th at the Nardin Church from 4-6 p.m.

Donna Kay Reese, the daughter of Frank and Hazel (Hall) Reese, was born on January 20, 1949 in Blackwell, OK. She grew up in Nardin and graduated from Deer Creek High School. On May 24, 1968, Donna married James “Jim” Lichti in Nardin, where they made their home and were married 56 years. She attended Beauty School and opened a Beauty Shop which she operated for a short while.

Donna was a loving and hardworking farmer’s wife. She was a faithful member of the Nardin Church and a caring servant for those in the community. She loved her Lord Jesus, her family, a pretty vase of flowers, and HGTV. She will be greatly missed.

Family members include her husband, Jim, of the home; daughter, Cindy Boecking and husband Michael of Edmond; son, Cris Lichti and wife Kim of VA; four grandchildren, Hayden Boecking, Ford Boecking, Cooper Boecking, Benaiah Lichti and Josheb “Ari” Lichti; one brother, Darrell Reese of Nardin; sisters, Dixie Kuehny of Ponca City, Sue Godard of Bolder, Co and Jean Ann Corneil of Moore.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Colleen Hedrick.
