Katherine Marie (Trenary) Bliss-Lute Obituary
In the early morning hours of November 14, 2024, surrounded by her family, Katherine Marie (Trenary) Bliss-Lute received her wings and joined the glory of Heaven. Known as Katie Mae to her family and friends, she was born October 19, 1939, in Vernon Township, OK, to Earl Henry Trenary and Ada (Billie) Lavoyce (Pemberton)Trenary. During her 85 years on this earth, she lived a full and active life of service, especially to those she loved.
Katie had a number of careers in her life, including telephone operator, homemaker, the County of Kay, as well as a co-owner of an international company. Katie worked as a telephone operator in Arkansas City, KS, Bartlesville, OK, as well as San Diego, CA. She served as a homemaker, raising her two children, Scott and Maribeth. During her time as a homemaker, the family traveled the world, living in Morocco. While living in Morocco, the family spent one summer traveling through Europe. Katie worked for the County Surveyor and as a purchasing agent in Kay County. In 1978, Katie married the love of her life, Bill Bliss. With Bill, they founded Bliss Industries.
Katie was an animal lover, owning numerous pets throughout her life. Many people who knew Katie stated that if reincarnation exists, they wanted to come back as one of Katie’s pets.
One of Katie’s greatest joys was spending time with her family. Katie hosted holidays for her family and was an excellent cook. She never met a porch that she didn’t like to sit on. She also enjoyed feeding her birds and any other critters that were hungry.
After's Bill passing, she was reunited with her high school sweetheart, DeWayne Lute. Katie and Dewayne were married in 2020 and were able to enjoy one another's company until DeWayne's passing in 2023.

She also leaves behind her baby brothers, Jon Trenary (Janet) and Martin Trenary (Marie). Katie has numerous nieces, nephews, and bonus grandchildren as well.
