Terri Rae Ropp

Terri Rae Ropp left to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on January 31, 2025. Terri was born in Glendale, California, on December 11, 1968 to parents Buford and Janice (Johnson) Ropp.
After moving back from California with her parents, Terri lived in Belle Plaine, Kansas until June 1976, they then settled permanently settled in Blackwell. Terri was educated in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1987. She also attended Pioneer Area Vo-Tech and graduated in the Machine Tool program in 1987. She followed in her parents footsteps and worked as a machinist in Oklahoma and Kansas until she retired due to illness.
Terri had three children, daughters Stephanie and Bobbie and son, Jesse. Terri was a wonderful mother and was very family oriented. Her family grew with the addition of her grandchildren, Emma, Ellie, Kyler, Kaden, Noah, Preslie and Blake. She adored her grandkids and loved spending time with them.
Terri was baptized into the First Baptist Church when she was a young girl and she continued to develop her relationship with the Lord. She had the biggest heart and would always try to lift you up. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her family.
She was very close with her family and extended family. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing until her health restricted her. Terri would even go hunting with her brother Adam when they were young and lived on the farm. She loved riding horses and taking care of all the animals on the farm.
Terri is survived by her children, daughter Stephanie Heath and husband Dale of Blackwell, daughter Bobbie Ropp of Blackwell and son Jesse Harlow of Blackwell, seven grandchildren, sister Kristie Ropp of Blackwell, brother Adam Ropp and wife Melissa of Cleveland, OK and brother Fred Ropp of Ponca City as well as several nieces and nephews.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents Buford in 2006 and Janice in 2014, sister Kim in 2019 and her brother Greg.
Services will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Blackwell, OK
