Blackwell Tourism to raise money for Flycatchers Team on Thursday

Blackwell Tourism is hosting a concession fundraiser for the Blackwell Flycatcher players this Thursday, after team tryouts and before their scrimmage at Morgan Field.

The concessions will be available from 5pm to 7:30pm. With every $20 purchase a free ticket to a future game will be given.

“All funds raised will be given to the individual players throughout the season to help with their living expenses”, says Blackwell Tourism Board President Kim Shoffner. “Our board is a sponsor for the team’s upcoming season, but we wanted to help the players directly”, Shoffner added.

Concessions will include hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, a variety of chips, pop, and water.

Shoffner encourages everyone to attend by saying “Please come out and support the Blackwell Flycatchers on Thursday and help us raise money for these players representing ou community”.
