Town of Braman to open new rental community center

The Town of Braman is inviting everyone to attend the grand opening of their new community building, a rental and event center space that Braman Mayor Donna Campbell has been overseeing and, above all else, is incredibly proud of.

The grand opening will be held next Saturday, August 17, from 4- 8 p.m., with free hot dogs, watermelon, and drinks at 415 Broadway in Braman.

“The building is a part of Braman’s history,” said Mayor Campbell, “and now it will be utilized as a meeting and rental space to bring the community together. Our Town Hall has been utilized for smaller groups, and this new space will allow for larger ones.”

According to Campbell, the new building will cost $150 to rent and includes 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, tables, chairs, and dividers to separate the room if there are two or more functions happening.

The building will, in the near future, include a patio and outdoor area and a stage indoors.

Plans are also in motion for the building to feature an alumni memorabilia display, as Campbell and the Town of Braman see the new facility as being a go-to spot for reunions.

“We are very proud of the building,” Campbell said, “we are still putting some finishing touches on the facility but we are looking forward to showing it off, and invite everyone to attend!”
