Phyllis Prince

June 03, 2021

On May 12th, 2021, our beloved Phyllis Prince passed away at home with her loved ones by her side. Phyllis was 63 years old.

Phyllis is survived by her husband Butch, Mother Nancy, Sister Pamela (Terry) Morgan, Daughter Sabrina (Brandon) Ward, Granddaughter Savannah (Trent) Valdez, Grandsons Kaden Hedges & Cooper Ward, Niece Amanda (Richard) Elizondo, Nephew Trey (Mary) Morgan, Great Niece Abi Elizondo, and Great Nephews Joseph Elizondo, Miles & Tucker Morgan. Her very special kids…. her fur pups Buck & Bo.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father Bill Gee, her special pup Bud & many more fur babies over the years.

Phyllis was born on August 3rd, 1957 in Memphis, Tennessee, she graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Accounting. Phyllis married the love of her life Butch Prince on October 5th, 1996 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She gained a daughter & a beautiful 5-month-old (Bambino) granddaughter on the best day of her life, with her grandsons soon to follow.

There are 2 special men that for many years she considered her adopted grandsons, Trent Valdez, which is so funny because he is marrying her sweet bambino in November 2021, (which was one of the happiest moments when she found out). The other is Austin Skaggs, he has always had a special place in her heart. Some of her last words spoken were that she would make Trent & Savannah’s wedding in November and Austin & Kelsey’s wedding in September. She may not be there physically, but she will be there spiritually.

Phyllis was very active in Relay for Life, she always made Butch build something for our team campsite. She loved to sew, go camping, boating and creating an oasis in her backyard to host her family and friends for great parties & creating great memories for everyone. Phyllis especially liked being pampered by Butch’s cooking, which is amazing! She was always offering his cooking to everyone else to enjoy. Phyllis was very dedicated to everyone and everything she loved, especially her work, she worked as the accountant for SW Cupid for over 23 years.

Everyone knew when they had a birthday at work, she was going to be singing to them and blowing the horns to celebrate…she always made it so much fun. She will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her. All her family, many friends and co-workers were blessed to have her in their life. Please join us for a celebration of life at the Kay Room at Kay Electric on Saturday June 5th, 2021, from 1pm to 3pm, come & go. Finger foods & drinks will be provided. Reminisce, share your favorite memories of Phyllis and celebrate the life she lived!!
